SysNet TECHNOLOGIES…

WHO WE ARE

SysNet TECHNOLOGIES is a non-profit corporation organized exclusively to teach disadvantaged persons regardless of race, ethnic background, age, gender, or socioeconomic status skills necessary to access and successfully navigate a computer-driven society.

These skills focus on maximizing the opportunity for obtaining meaningful employment, thus improving one’s standard of living.

WHY WE ARE

Each year in the United States, thousands of citizens must become consumers of federal and state assistance programs due to lack of sustainable employment.

Many of these citizens are being left behind as a result of an increasingly more technological society and limited access to skills which allow them to maneuver and succeed in this new terrain.

Members of society without adequate employment and financial resources are at greater risk for substance abuse, domestic violence, poor health, teenage pregnancy, and incarceration.

Approaches to employability in the next decade must focus on providing pre-employment, job-readiness, educational, and skill training services.

WHY OUR PROGRAMS MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

SysNet
Computer Training Academy

The primary goal of SysNet Computer Training Academy is to train unemployed and under-employed citizens to become technology professionals.

This program seeks to provide them with the knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to effectively perform computer technology functions for any corporation, government entity, agency, or to become self-employed.

The 12 week curriculum combines technology-based learning with “real life” skills designed to ensure success. The courses are taught by professionals in fields such as information technology, business, and management.
